Good evening Saint Joseph School Community. I continue to pray that all are well and safe. We congratulate our two eighth grade basketball players Shelby Ramnarinesingh and Jamir York as they received the CYO Athletic Awards for 2026. We also congratulate our Junior varsity C oach Young for receiving the Adult Recognition Award a;; representing Saint Joseph Scool East Orange. We also congratulate e Alannah Stewart our Outstanding 8th grade graduate for 2026. They all were recognized this past weekend.

This week is full days of school Monday thru Thursday . Friday March 27, 2026 is a 12:00 dismissal for all grades, Prek-8,  as teachers will have conferences with only  those parents who they need to discuss students progress or might need to attend Summer School.. Conference notices will go home by Tuesday. Conference times will be between 1:00 and  5:00 PM. All other times will be by appointment only with the teachers. before our Easter recess which begins Thursday April 2, 2026.

Students who teachers do not have to meet will receive their report cards Thursday March 26, 2026. Grades 1 thru 8 will also receive a copy of their winter Map Testing Scores with their report card.

All extra curricular activities will be held Monday thru Thursday.. Aftercare will be available Friday March 27, 2026. A notice will be sent home for students to sign up for aftercare. Also students must bring lunch for Friday if staying in Aftercare.

Wednesday March 25, 2026 extra slice money due. Grade 4 will be taking their class trip to Drumwachet, the governor's mansion in Princeton, NJ. This is part of their Social Studies curriculum on the Satet of New Jersey. 

Thursday March 26, 2026 is A Spring Colors Tag Day. Tag day dress policy will be in effect. No torn, distressed or inappropriate writing on jeans or tee shirts. No crocs, clogs or slippers can be worn. Donation $2.00.

Reminder,  March 15 tuition is due by Wednesday March 25 to avoid $50.00 late fee March 26, 2026. There is still Ms. Chocolate candy bars available to assist reaching fundraising goal for this school year.

We are asking our parents to please closely  monitor your child's use of Social Media, group chats and any devices your child is using.  We have no control of what apps or conversations they are having at home.
