Good evening Saint Joseph School Community. I continue to pray that all are well and safe. Let us continue to pray for each other in this new year 2026.
This week we have full days Monday January 12 thru Thursday January 15, 2026. Friday January 16 is a 12:00 dismissal for all grades due to an important faculty/staff meeting. Please remember that Monday January 19 , school is closed in honor of Martin Luther King .We will have a prayer service on Friday January 16, 2026 in honor of his memory at 9:30 AM in the gymnasium.

We wish to welcome our new crossing guard Mr. Harold Sanders. He has already expressed his concerns about drop off on Tremont Ave. and crossing in the middle of the street on both Tremont and Telford Streets. Do Not Drop Off on Tremont in front of the door. We are trying to prevent a serious accident happening.

All after school extra curricular activities will take place Monday January 12 thru Thursday January 15.. All January fees were to be paid by Friday January 9, 2026 in order for your child to continue to participate. for the month.  

Extra slice of pizza money is due Wednesday January 14, as our pizza lunch will be Thursday January 15. Donation is $2.00. No money can be accepted after Wednesday.

Thursday January 15 will be a Favorite Team Sports Tag Day. Tag Day dress policy will be in effect. No torn, distressed or inappropriate writing on clothing. No crocs, clogs, or slippers can be worn. Donation $2.00. 

We ask that you please review our Student/Parent Handbook especially in regards to  hair styles and coloring. Every year the handbook is reviewed and just as we made changes over the years in regards to boys braids, please send in writing your concerns about any changes that you suggest be changed. The administration will take any changes under consideration. All families signed to agree to our current policies.

Reminder January 15, 2026 Tuition payment is due Thursday January 15, 2026. No payment arrangements can be made on or after the 15th. 

Breakfast/lunch invoices were sent home Thursday and Friday. All outstanding invoices sent home prior to our Christmas Recess must be paid in order for students to receive a meal. Please contact Ms. Lissy Dismuke, our bursar, to discuss any concerns. ldismukes@stjosepheo.com.

Thankyou for your cooperation in keeping your child home when they are ill. With the spike in the viruses throughout the State, we have to give a weekly report to the State. we are doing all we can to disinfect an keep the school free of germs. Wearing masks is optional, but we encourage when needed.
