Good evening Saint Joseph School Community. I continue to pray that everyone is safe, well and warm. I wish to congratulate students, teacher, and staff on a successful Catholic Schools Week celebrations we had last week. I wish to thank all students, parents, and faculty/staff  who came out on Saturday to Celebrate pur last day. 

This week is a full week and days of school. There will be no lates. If your child will arrive after 8:30 AM, please call the school office and advise if your child will eat school lunch. . 

Now as we continue to weather this frigid cold temperatures, we will continue to pray that all are well and safe.  This week we will continue our Winter Map Testing for grades one thru eight. Please encourage students to have a good night's sleep. eat something for breakfast and encourage them to do their bes. 

All Afterschool extra curricular activities will take place. We continue to ask that if your child is in the Aftercare program, please pick them up by 5:00 PM if possible so the staff can get home safely. .

Extra Pizza money will be collected thru Thirsday February 5, 2026. Crazy sock tag day will be Thursday February 5, 2026. Tag day dress policy will be in effect. No torn, distressed or inappropriate writing on clothing. No crocs, clogs or slippers can be worn. Donation $2.00.

If students wear boots to school, they must bring sneakers or shoes to change .Students may wear gym uniform to school each day due to the cold temperatures. Please dress your child appropriately for this extremely cold weather.

The Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children application will open March 1, 2026 thru May 1, 2026. You must have your completed 2025 income tax completed to upload to the online application.  The EMLA Scholarship application will open May 1, 2026 and must be mailed by June 15, 2026. These applications will be distributed from the school office. 

All breakfast/lunch invoices are due as soon as possible. Any questions or concerns , please contact Ms. Lissy Dismukes in the school office.

we have bxes of Ms. Chocolate $1.00 candy bars available for sale, The Spring Catalog fund raiser begins february 2, 2026 thru February 26, 2026. Please support these fund raisers. The funds are used for operation projects in the school..
