Good Afternoon St. Joseph School Community.
We made it through our first three days of school.
Kuddos to the parents and students for making the start of the 2025-2026 school a great preview of what is to come.
Here are the important announcements and reminders for the week of Sept. 8th-12th:
All students must be to school by 8:00am, doors open at 7:30am.
Before-Care is available from 6:30am-7:30am.
As a reminder, there is a charge for Before-Care and After-Care.
KG-8th Gr. students must have on school shoes.
Dismissal is as follows - KG, 3rd Gr. and 6th Gr. are dismissed at 2:45pm; 1st Gr., 4th Gr. and 7th Gr. are dismissed at 2:50pm; 2nd Gr., 5th Gr. and 8th Gr. are dismissed at 2:55pm.
Older brother or sister will pickup younger sibling and head to designated pickup location established by parent.
Please make sure your child is aware of their pickup location on school grounds.
Students who will walk home will receive a form that must be signed and returned to the school by Tuesday morning.
Any student not picked up by 3:00pm will be placed into After-Care at a charge of $30.00/student.
Upon pickup from After-Care, parents you will receive a registration form.
Sign and return ASAP.
Gym classes will begin next week Sept. 15th-19th.
Parents you will be informed this week of your child's gym schedule.
Back to School Night will take place this Thursday September 11th at 6:00pm.
Please use the Tremont Avenue doors to enter the gymnasium.
Breakfast and lunch menus for September have been posted to the school's website.

There are no substitutes provided, so please make sure your child has their own breakfast and/or lunch if they will not be fed by the school.
Seafood and peanut are not allowed in the building due to some students' allergies.
Every Friday will be Pizza Day. Each student receives 1 slice of pizza, vegetable or fruit, juice and milk.
Students who would like additional pizza must bring in $2.00 per each additional slice.
Money will be collected upon entry into the building by Ms. Pumpkin and receipt will be sent home.
Place money in an envelope with child's name, grade and amount enclosed.
Last day to place an order will be Thursday mornings.
All school forms, emergency cards and lunch applications must be returned by Monday September 8th.
Ms. Cavaness will be awarding the first class who has 100% collection of all documents returned.
Thursdays is for Tag Days, cost is $2.00.
This week's theme is School Spirit, Blue and Gold!
No torn jeans, no crop tops, no crocs, no sandals, no inappropriate language or graphic image.
Fundraising brochures have been sent home.
World's Finest Chocolate Bars are available.

Friday September 12th, our school will be represented at the Jubilee Mass at the Cathedral of Scarfed Heart in Newark.
School office will be open daily from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
