Welcome Back!! Saint Joseph School Community. " We're in This Together". I continue to pray that all are well and safe. It seems we just said our good byes and hoped we all would have an enjoyable, restful Summer Vacation. We had a wonderful Summer Enrichment Program full of learning new things and experiencing new ideas.
This message is to welcome our new and returning families. to our school community. You will receive a weekly message updating you of coming events and reminders of things of importance for the coming week or month.
All families must have come into school to sign their financial agreement and contract in order to be admitted into class. Please come into the school office Tuesday September 2, 2025 between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM to sign if you have not done so. Tuition began in August. This week September 1 through September 5 are the following events:
Before care will be available 6:30 AM until 7:30 AM, Breakfast will be served for grades K thru 8 between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. Pre-K breakfast will be served in their classrooms from 7:30 AM until 8:00 AM Due to the work on our kitchen roof, Breakfast for grades K thru 8 will be served in the gymnasium. Any student arriving after 8:00 AM must enter thru Telford Street entrance. Lunch will begin Monday September 8, 2025. A menu will follow.
Monday September 1, 2025- Labor Day School is closed. Tuesday September 2- School opens for Prek 3 and Prek-4 ,7:30 AM-12:00 Noon Dismissal.
Wednesday September 3, School Opens for grades K thru 8 . Students must enter thru Tremont Avenue doors by 8:00 AM. We will have our Convocation which includes all announcements and prayers. Students will also meet their teachers for the 2024-2025 school year. Please do not drop off students on Tremont Avenue in front of the door. There might be road construction taking place. Please leave ample time so your child may arrive on time.
Wednesday September 3 thru Friday September 5 there will be a 12:00 Noon Dismissal.for all grades Prek thru grade 8. Dismissal areas are as follows:
Prek , grades 1, 2, and 3 Crawford Street. Grades 4 and 5 Telford Street, Grades 6, 7 and 8 Tremont Avenue. Kindergarten dismissal will be in the Convent parking lot. on Telford. Older siblings will pick up brothers or sisters at the younger students dismissal door.
For all students walking home, we must have a signed walk home form on file. Please send a note for those walking home, a form will be sent home
Students should not be wearing sneakers but black, brown, or navy colored rubber soled shoes.
Information packets will be sent home. One is to remain at home, the other, there are documents you must sign and return to school.This will include the yearly tenative school calendar.
There are still parts to the school uniform available on the first floor. Back to School Night Thursday September 11, 2025 6:00 PM.
