Good evening Saint Joseph School Community. I continue to pray that all are well and safe. As we are coming to the end of our second month of school, let us continue to be grateful for the many blessings God has showered us with. WE will have our Rosary Rally , Thursday October 30, 2025.

We wish to welcome Ms. Lysteria Dismuke to our office staff. To answer many questions and concerns about Ms. Courtney, she has taken a part time position with us here at St. Joseph and will be available to answer questions and concerns between 4:30 and 6:00 PM or thru her email ccavaness@stjosepheo.com During the day , Ms. Dismuke will be available or Ms. Cavaness , principal,  between 8:00 Am and 4:00 PM.  

This week is a full week of school Monday October 27 thru Friday October 31. The extra curricular activities will take place as stated on the October Calendar found on the school web page under extra curricular activities.The $10.00 fee for the last two weeks of October are due by October 30, 2025 if you have not paid. The November calendar will be posted by October 31. Please encourage your child, children who are participating to be on their best behavior and respectful to the instructors. during their sessions.

If you have received any invoices for any outstanding payments due, please send the payment into school in an envelope with your child's name, grade, amount and what the payment is for. Please try to enclose exact change. 

Thank you to all who have participated in selling the boxes of World Finest Chocolates. All boxes are gone. If you still have any money outstanding, please send it in as soon as possible.

Extra Pizza slice money for Friday October 31 will be collected this week by Wednesday October 29 only. No money will be accepted after Wednesday. We apologize to those students who did not receive their extra slice last week, but will receive it this week.

Thursday October 30 is a Orange and Black tag day. Tag Day dress policy will be in effect. No torn, distressed or inappropriate wording on any clothing. No crocs, clogs or slippers can be worn. Donation $2.00.

Friday October 31 only Pre-K thru grade 3 may wear costumes to school. No swords or items that may injure someone can be brought to school. There will be a parade around the school at 10:00 AM. Halloween celebrations will be held as designated by the classroom teachers. Students not participating and grades 4-8 may wear their school or gym uniform. 

Tuition due October 15, must be paid by October 26 in order for your child to enter school Monday October 27, 2025. No payment arrangements will be taken at this time.
Students will not be permitted into class.

Please check your child's teacher's web page to check the dates and times of their extra help classes after school. If students are not picked up on time after extra help, they will be placed in Aftercare. If you will be late, please call the school office. 

We discourage early dismissal from school, but if your need to pick your child up, please contact the office before hand so your child can be ready when you arrive.

Picture day this year will be done by 7M Photographs on November  5, 2025.. Envelopes have been distributed.  It is Sunday Best clothing. They   only accept cash or money orders in the envelope provided. No checks or credit cards or online orders.
