Good evening Saint JOseph School Community. I wish to thank everyone for cooperating in our school emergency crisis last week. It was found there was a gas leak in a rotten pipe under the floor in the cafeteria. It was opened, repaired and closed on Friday May 1, 2026 while the school was closed. School will be open Monday May 4, 2026 regular hours. School will be open Monday May 1 thru Thursday May7 regular hours. Friday May 8 will be a 12:00 dismissal with no aftercare for a faculty meeting and teacher appreciation lunch. The school office will open Monday May 4 at 8:30AM until 4:00 PM.
Tuesday May 4 for grades one thru 8 Spring Map Testing will begin.Students must have chromebooks fully charged. Please encourage your child to get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, take their time, be on time to school. Students must show improvement in their scores or will be referred to Summer School. We have until May 22, 2026 to complete the test.
All outstanding fundraiser, lunch /breakfast invoices , other obligations must be paid as soon as possible. Kindergarten and eight grade students financial obligations must be paid to particiapte in graduation activities. Contact Ms. Lissy if you have any questions.or concerns.
Wednesday May 6 extra pizza money will be collected as Pizza lunch is Thursday May 7. Thursday May 7 is a Spring Color Tag day. No torn, distressed or inappropriate writing on jeans or teeshirts No crocs, clogs or slippers can be worn. Donation $2.00.
Thursday May 7 the play "Aladdin, Jr" will be performed at 6:30 PM in the school gymnasium. Donation admission Adults $10.00, Seniors $5.00 and Students $2.00.
SFIC online application closed Friday May 1, 2026. EMLA Scholarship applications will be distributed Tuesday May 5 to families who received grants for the 2025-2026 school year. All others request fior an application must send a note to the school office. Families must mail in the application by June 15, 2026.
Registration for the 2026-2027school year is now open. You mst come into the school to register and pay registration fee at that time.
