Good evening Saint Joseph School Community. I continue to pray that all are well and safe. We congratulate our Class of 2025 and their families on their academic achievements this past school year. We will continue to pray for their success in all their future endeavors. Now we look forward to the final chapter here at Saint Joseph School as the students prepare for their graduation ceremony this Friday June 6, 2025 at 10:30 AM in the church. Congratulations to Noah Carrion on receiving his Confirmation on Sunday June 1, 2025.
Monday June 2 thru Thursday June 5, 2025 will be full days for grades Kindergarten through 5th. After School activities ended as of Friday May 30th. All students must be picked up at normal dismissal time if they are not attending After-Care. Friday June 6 will be a half day 12:00 dismissal for all students. Sixth and seventh grade students have final exams, Monday June 2 thru Wednesday June 4, and they will be dismissed at 12:00 PM each day. If a student must stay for regular dismissal time or aftercare, please email either Mr. Williams or Mr. Ignacio as soon as possible.
Thursday June 5 is the school field trip to Funplex in East Hanover for grades kindergarten thru 7th grade. All permission slips, waivers for waterpark and money must be turned in Monday June 2 by 12:00 Noon. No forms or monies will be accepted after this time. As a reminder, any student who is interested in entering the waterpark must be accompanied by a chaperone. Teachers, additional staff and parents of other classmates will not count as your child's chaperone. Cost is $25.00 for chaperone. Chaperone must be 18 years of age or older. Head count of attendees will be submitted to Fun Plex at 12:30pm tomorrow Monday June 2nd. Any student not attending the field trip must remain at home on Thursday.
PreK 3 & 4 students are attending Catch Air in Paramus, Thursday June 5th, for their end of the year field trip. All PreK 3 students who are attending the trip must have a chaperone as per teacher. Teacher will not count as chaperone. Parents of PreK 4 students please check your child's permission slip if a mandatory chaperone has been written. Chaperone must accompany student if designated on permission slip. Cost is $20.00 for chaperone.
All outstanding breakfast/lunch invoices must be paid by Monday June 2 in order for students to receive breakfast or lunch. Please email Ms. Courtney if you have any questions or concern at ccavaness@stjosepheo.com.
All outstanding financial obligations including tuition, fundraisers, etc. must be paid for students to participate in end of the year activities including any graduations.
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year and Summer Enrichment, including Summer School is ongoing. Students currently enrolled and returning next year must register by June 30, 2025 to guarantee a seat in a class .You must come into the school office to register. Any student transferring must fill out a form in the office. The transfer will be ready the week of June 16, 2025.
