Good evening Saint Joseph School Community. Happy Easter!!! As we prepare to reopen school Monday April 28, 2025, we pray all are well and safe. Easter Monday God called Pope Francis to his heavenly home. I pray our families were able to see and witness Pope Francis's funeral on Saturday. We are blessed to have a portrait of Pope Francis hanging in our main hallway on Telford Street. Let us continue to pray for his soul.
This week as we return to complete the 2024-2025 school year we pray for God's guidance to see us successfully and safely complete this year. This week is a full week of school. All after school activities will take place. Students taking tap class must bring their tap shoes to practice.
The May lunch menu will be posted on our web page. Any outstanding lunch fees must be paid as soon as possible.
The Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children application is closing Thursday May 1, 2025. It is an online application. The Emla application will be sent home this week. It opens May 1, 2025 and must be postmarked by June 15, 2025. Eighth grade students who received an EMLA award this year may apply again if they are attending a Catholic High School next year.
Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open. It is important that you register as soon as possible. Aquinas Academy in Livingston is closing in June. They are having an open house May 1, 2025 for information about other Catholic Elementary Schools We will be participating.
We sent out a google survey to our families to get an idea of what students are returning. If you have not responded to the survey, please do so as soon as possible. All current students must register by June 30, 2025 to guarantee a seat. You must come into the office and be prepared to pay the registration fee when you register.
Summer Enrichment which includes Summer School registration is now on going. It opens June 30, 2025 through August 22, 2025. Information is available in the school office. Summer School goes from June 30 through August 8, 2025.
There is a snack fund raiser going on to support the Athletic Association. Information will be going out in regards to Spring Basketball Skills Training given by our coaches.
There are changes to our May calendar. The half a day will take place May 16, 2025 not May 9, 2025.
