Good evening Saint Joseph School Community. Happy Palm Sunday!!! I pray all are well and safe. Special prayers are requested for our faculty and staff in the days and weeks ahead. As we are entering Holy Week in preparation for Easter Sunday, let us pray more for God to continue to protect and keep each of us.

This week we will be open Monday April 14 and Tuesday April 15 full days. On Wednesday April 16 we will have a 12:00 dismissal and begin our Easter recess.

Since there will be road construction the week of April 21- April 25 which will involve putting new gas lines into the school, Our Preschool department will be closed  all week. 

A Spring Color Tag day will take place Tuesday April 15. The tag day dress policy will be in effect. No torn, distressed or written on jeans or tee shirts. No crocs or clogs, Donation $ 2.00.All outstanding tag day fees must be paid immediately.

After school activities will take place Monday and Tuesday . All April fees must be paid by April 14 for students to continue to participate.

Any outstanding outstanding lunch fees must be paid by Monday April 14 or students will not be allowed to eat lunch until fee is paid in full.
Any fundraising balances must be paid. If a payment arrangement has not been set up , the balance will be added to your tuition.

There is a Snack fundraiser to help the Athletic Association prepare for their Spring and Summer Programs. Information was sent home to some classes. The information to other classes will be sent home on Monday. April 14. It will end on May 1, 2025. You can order online again  Please support this fund raiser. 

Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is taking place. All returning students must register by June 30, 2025. No seats will be guaranteed after June 30 for the next school year. Registration fee remains the same,  $225.00. for each student , grades K thru 7. $300.00 for grade eight which includes the High school testing fee. The tuition has increased $15.00 per month to $5850.00 for the first child and decreases by $100.00 for each additional child. You must come into the school office to register and be prepared to pay the registration fee. No paper work can be sent home.

The Scholarship Fund for Inner City Children application is open online until May 1 2025. The EMLA Scholarship fund application will be sent out the week of April 
28 2025. This scholarship opens May 1, 2025 thru June 15, 2025.

Tomorrow,  Monday April 14, road construction will continue on Telford Street. The project is installing gas lines into homes on Telford Street. The street will close at 8:00 AM. Please be careful and patient when dropping children off at school. Please do not cross in the middle of the streets. 

School will be closed Thursday April 17,  Friday April 25, 2025 for Easter Recess. School will reopen Monday April 28, 2025.
