Learning About Black Leaders
Hi parents/ guardian! I have a special project for your child. I want to help them learn about black leaders and write about them.
This project is a fun way for kids to learn about the important people who made the world a better place. These leaders work hard to help others and make big changes.
What to Write About:
Help your child choose a Black leader, someone like Harriet Tubman, Maya Angelou, or Jackie Robinson. Ask them to learn a little more about that person.
Students will pick a black leader of their choice. On a clean sheet of paper student will write about that leader.
Let your child be creative in their writing. It's okay if they don't write a lot. The most important part is that they learn and think about the leader's impact on the world.
All work will be graded, so please ensure clean and neat work. I can't wait to see what your child writes about their Black leader! Thank you for helping them learn about these amazing people.
